The Scholastic Award

This award will be given at the end of each nine weeks during the school year. From the applications received, one student per grades 6-12 will be recognized from the candidates who attend the Lexington Public Schools.

Selection will be based on the candidate's scholastic achievement (honor roll and grade point average for that nine weeks) and their participation in school and community activities for the current and prior year only.

A student can only win this award once during their middle school years and once in high school starting in the 2002-2003 school year. Our hope is more students will be recognized by limiting the award winners.
